The 3311 Olive Tip SC Cannula (El Rayes) is a curved cannula designed for suprachoroidal surgery. The large, rounded olive tip allows gentle placement of filler material, such as viscoelastic, in the suprachoroidal space to create a buckle effect. It is intended primarily for the treatment of detachments at the equator and anterior portion of the posterior segment. It can also be used to deliver medications or other therapeutic agents into the suprachoroidal space, as well as for aspiration of fluids in cases of suprachoroidal hemorrhage, removal of silicone oil, or similar cases.
