MedOne offers surgeons two choices for pneumatically operated, full surgeon control of low-volume subretinal injections using the vitrectomy consoles of Alcon (Constellation® ), B+L (Stellaris® ) and DORC (EVA® ) systems. Our MicroDose™ and MicroDose™ SF easily adapt to the console’s viscous fluid injection set utilizing the 1mL syringe. Simply fill the syringe using a variety of methods, place a subretinal injection cannula on the secure Luer lock fitting of the MicroDose™ and the surgeon is ready to administer using the console foot pedal.

The new MicroDose™ SF Injection Kit offers several critical features not available on our original 3275 MicroDose™. These include a silicone-free syringe to eliminate the risk of silicone droplets being introduced into the eye and unique stopper designed to reduce dead-space to approximately 10 micro-liters. Additionally, the syringe comes with a detachable plunger rod which allows for manual filling of the syringe.
